| Q. |
What
does a Security Access Console do? |
| A. |
Think of a Security
Access Console as a doorbell on steroids.
They do much more than ring a bell or buzzer.
They can ring the phones in your home or business to allow you
to talk to whoever is at your door or gate from the safety of
being inside your home or business.
They also enable you to see who is at your door or gate from
any television.
They can allow you to open your door or gate from your telephone.
They can call your cellular phone when someone rings your doorbell
and allow you to talk to them.
Because our consoles do much more than other company's door stations
we had to give them a name that described more of what they actualy
did.
On top of all that the look great doing it.
Optional equipment may be needed.
|
| Q. |
Does
007 Systems's Security Access Consoles use propriatory electronics? |
| A. |
Well the answer is Yes and No.
The cameras we sell are designed to be used with our custom gimble
mounts. So using a different camera will probably not fit
in our mount.
But the different brands of door stations we use are the same
door stations you can buy from there manufactures. In fact when
we install them, we take the electronics out of their door stations
and install them into our consoles.
|
| Q. |
Will
your Security Access Consoles work with my old looking door
station? |
| A. |
Yes.
We guarantee your door station electronics to fit in our console
as long as the model is on our list of recommended
door stations.
You can also order the SAC with new door station electronics and
a camera upgrade to dress up your front porch or entry area. Make
sure the new and old door station are the same model number.
They look great on any home or business.
|
| Q. |
How
long is the warranty you offer on your Security Access Consoles? |
| A. |
All of the parts we manufacture and sell come with a 12 month
warranty.
Our rough-in boxes and poles are powdercoated and are warrantied
not to rust.
The finishes on our faceplates are covered with a clear coat and
should look great for a long time.
The electronics we sell can only be warrantied if we install them.
The camera and Essex Gate Access Systems are warrantied for 90
days, as per the manufacture.
If you have a problem and you are still in your warranty period
contact 007 Systems for a Return Authorization Number to return

| Q. |
How
many different installation options are available for your
Security Access Consoles. |
| A. |
There are 6 different installation options currently available.
We offer 2 different rough-in box models. The RIB100,
RIB200 and RIB300.
The RIB100 comes with every SAC order and
is made for framing applications.
The RIB200 is a very sturdy
box made
to be poured into concrete brick or block walls. The RIB200
also has knockouts for easy conduit attachment.
The RIB300
is our best concrete wall box ever made. It is made of extra thick metal to take
the toughest enviroments. It has a rainshield on the top and
sides
for portection
from the elements. It is covered with a black crinkle powder
coat to provide a lifetime of service. The 300 also has knockouts
on the sides and bottom for easy hook up to conduit.
We have 2 different poles for drive up applications. The
SPE100 and SPE200. The difference in the two is the SPE100
is for bolting down to the concrete and the SPE200 has a 3
foot longer pole and is for pouring into concrete.
The SMB100 is a steel powder coated box with no
ugly seams. This box can be attached to just about any surface,
is only 1.5 inches deep and allows enough room for all of the
electronics, even the camera. So if a rough-in box is not an
option, don't worry. Just mount a SMB100 to that wall and the
SAC to it.

If your home has a functioning doorbell and a phone, your home
has the wires needed to install a SAC.

will need knowledge in installing these type of products. If you
are not comfortable doing this yourself, contact 007 Systems to
get an installer in your area.

I have to cut a hole in my wall to install a Security Access

No.

| A. |
Not at all.
All of our SAC's come with an adhesive foam gasket. This gasket
will make a great seal around the console to help prevent
moisture from getting in, even on stucco.

| Q. |
How
big of a gap will your gasket fill? |
| A. |
Our gasket will fill a gap of 1/4"
|
| Q. |
Where
can I install a Security Access Console? |
| A. |
Pretty much anywhere.
The only limitation is moisture. Although they resist moisture
and rain very well. They are still electronic devices and
such will not respond well to lots of moisture in the area.
Areas that have water sprayed onto them due to sprinkers or other
water emitting devices are not good choices.
We recommend an area next to your doors and gates about chest
high that is well lit and has low noise.
|

How
many gates or doors will the keypad control? |
| A. |
The Essex Gate controller and keypad are capable of controlling
up to 2 different gates or doors. There are 2 seperate dry contacts
for these.

| A. |
You can program up to 6 different codes into the Essex control
system.

How
long is the cable between the keypad and the controller? |
| A. |
The cable that comes with our EKE-265-5 is 15' we also sell
a 30'. If you need to add length to this cable you can run 2
cat5E cables and tie into this cable.
